Avalanche accidents involving snowmobiling is of increasing concern in Norway. Snowmobiler’s behavior in avalanche terrain in Norway lacks documentation. Our goal with this study is to obtain a better understanding of what snowmobilers really do in avalanche prone terrain so that we can communicate preventive measures more efficiently.
